About the event
Voter Education Program (VEP) aims to build voter knowledge, skills and democratic values among Maldivian youth and women that supports their meaningful participation in future elections of the Maldives and thereby promotes political pluralism and democratic participation in island and atoll communities of the Maldives.
The main objectives of this program are:
Enhancing youth participation in elections
Promoting women’s participation throughout the electoral cycle
Empowering voters through voter education
Foster sustainable voter education
