Welcome to W&D’s Election Awareness space, created for young people, women, first-time voters, community members, and anyone who wants to better understand elections in the Maldives.

About the Initiative
The Know Your Vote: Election Awareness Quiz Hub is part of Women & Democracy’s civic and voter education efforts to strengthen democratic participation in the Maldives.
This initiative was developed to make election learning more accessible, interactive, and youth-friendly. Through short quizzes and learning resources, the project helps citizens better understand voting rights, election misinformation, vote buying, election day readiness, women and youth participation, decentralisation, and by-elections.
The project aims to support informed, peaceful, inclusive, and meaningful participation in democratic processes, especially among young people, women, first-time voters, and island communities.
